Help North Carolina Clean Up and Rebuild!

Horizon is gathering volunteers for a series of visits between Saturday, July 12 – Sunday, July 20 to assist the flood victims with cleanup and rebuild of parts of Asheville, North Carolina. Volunteers can help for a minimum of 3 days and up to 10 days.

Horizon has chosen a partner organization, Spokes of Hope, who has been cleaning, supplying and rebuilding affected towns near Chimney Rock, NC, for the past 8 months. We interviewed many organizations and chose this one because they have the capacity to include Horizon volunteers, regardless of your skill set, to help in this ever-changing situation.

All volunteers must be a minimum of 8 years old. We cannot accommodate families with younger children on this trip. Volunteers between the ages of 8 and 16 years old must have an adult or guardian accompany them.
