Mothers play a powerful, influential role in our society. A case can be made that no person has a greater impact on a child’s development than his or her mother. The Bible points out the high value that God places on women as special creations, unique in their role as loving, nurturing role models. Proverbs 31 honors the “blessed mother” for her worth, her wisdom, and her work. Here at Horizon Community Church, we believe moms should be celebrated all year long, but we’re happy to take this special day to say a sincere thank you to every woman in our church for all you do and the ways you reflect the love of Christ.
