Description

Horizon men are invited to join Ryan Ventura as he leads this 5-session Authentic Manhood Series entitled: Overcoming Obstacles.  Understand and overcome obstacles that can detour you from the path you desire for your life.

• Learn from other men.
• Walk away with practical tools to use in your everyday life.

Sundays, Sept. 22nd - Oct. 27th

Each session stands alone and is ideal for men with busy travel schedules. Please attend as many sessions as your schedule allows.

Session 1: Idols & Promises, Sept. 22nd
Session 2: Battle Plan,  Sept 29th
Session 3: Sex or Intimacy,  Oct. 6th
      Please note, this group will not meet on Oct. 13th.
Session 4:  Control,  Oct. 20th
Session 5:  Significance & Comfort, Oct. 27th

• No prior Bible knowledge is needed to join this group.
• Wings or pizza and beer and soda will be served at each session.
• Materials will be distributed at the first session.
• Childcare is not offered for the study.

Ryan Ventura is the Director of Family Ministry and is responsible for infant through high school ministry and volunteer development.  Ryan has his BA in Youth Ministry from Eastern University. Prior to joining Horizon, he spent 16 years on staff with Young Life and eight years in part-time positions in various churches. Ryan enjoys golf, playing the guitar, reading and mountain biking. He and his wife, Becky, have four children, Lily, Sydney, Jackson and Finnley.
