Can you remember—or are you worried about— that feeling of not having a seat in the middle school lunchroom? Both moms and daughters know that feeling of not having a seat and what happens when you’re desperately trying to earn an invitation to sit at some special table. Middle school girls (5th grade and up) and moms (or caretakers) are invited to join Heather Holleman, author of Seated with Christ (reading for moms) and This Seat’s Saved (middle school reader: fiction) for an afternoon of learning how to take your seat at the best table of all—with Jesus. Heather will teach us how to handle jealousy and the comparison we feel when we think we need to fight for our seat at a particular table. This jealousy can prevent great friendships and make us miserable. Join us to learn how to stop fighting for a particular seat, take a new seat with God, and start living a brand-new life.

During our time spent together, we’ll connect in great conversation, and enjoy hot chocolate and autumn treats.
