Marriage Date Night
Marriage is hard work. Oneness in marriage is formed when a husband and wife begin growing in intimacy, trust, and understanding with one another. It grows as a couple hammers out a common direction,Rings purpose, and plan. Oneness in marriage demands a lifetime process of relying on God in forging an enduring relationship according to His design. It's more than a mere mingling of two humans -- it's a tender merging of body, soul, and spirit.
Oneness in marriage has been compared to a pair of scissors: two parts joined together moving in different directions, but powerful when they come together.
King Solomon, the wisest man who ever lived, spoke of three foundational components of a healthy marriage that is making progress toward oneness. He said, "By wisdom a house is built. And by understanding it is established; and by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches" (Proverbs 24:3--?4, NKJV).
The Marriage Date Night is designed to point couples in the direction of gaining more knowledge, wisdom and understanding so that they can begin experiencing the richness God intends and the enjoyment that starts to fill each room.
