Every man is built for adventure whether he's aware of it or not. You can see it in the movies most men like: Braveheart, Saving Private Ryan and Gladiator. Ask a man about his greatest moments, and he will likely talk about conquering that 14er in Colorado, white water rafting in Canada or that epic fly fishing trip in the Rockies. Sadly, for many men the Christian life never feels like an adventure and church feels like a duty. At Horizon we believe the Bible is an invitation to an adventure … an adventure with God. Today we honor dads for their engagement with God in the adventure of fatherhood. Your commitment and sacrifice in the life of a child is irreplaceable. This morning we want to say, "Thank you for all that you do.”
