High School Christmas Retreat

Friday, December 5 - Sunday, December 7
6:00 p.m. - 11:00 a.m.

Each December, Horizon high schoolers get away to an Airbnb in Kentucky for some quality adventure and rest time together as we connect and celebrate the Christmas season. This year, we are back at the Stone Haven property in Kenton County.  Stone Haven provides two houses and plenty of space for activities, including a half basketball court and hot tub.

We will leave from Horizon at 6pm on Friday, December 5th and return to Horizon at 11am on Sunday, December 7th. We will enjoy family style meals and participate in some friendly Goose chase scavenger hunt competition. We will also have time each day in our small groups similar to Sunday mornings. We will head to the PNC Festival of Lights at the Cincinnati Zoo on Saturday the 6th.

The cost for the weekend is $175, which includes food, lodging, transportation, entrance to the zoo, and all game and activity supplies. If your student has a zoo pass, the cost is $150. Bed linens are provided, but we recommend bringing a blanket and weather-ready clothes.   Each student is asked to bring a wrapped gift for the white elephant gift exchange (please spend no more than $20 for a gift).
