The Happy Church resides in Jackson, KY, one of the most impoverished communities in the United States. Horizon partners with The Happy Church to feed the hungry, distribute school supplies, and work on community projects. These trips are open to students who have finished grades 8-12 in the 2024-2025 school year, as well as adult chaperones.
We will meet at Horizon at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, June 3rd and return to Horizon around 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 7th.

Students and parents who plan on serving on The Happy Church Trip in August are asked to attend one pre-trip meeting designed to provide an opportunity for the team to connect as well as gain a better understanding of the Happy Church community and how we will serve them.
The cost for this trip for students is $175 and complimentary for chaperones. This cost covers transportation, lodging, meals, and supplies while serving at The Happy Church.
