Ecological Stewardship at Horizon

Saturday, February 8
10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Horizon, in partnership with Cincinnati Nature Center, is working on a project to restore native plants and biodiversity on our grounds. Horizon is seeking those passionate about improving our environment. Eco Service Projects are planned throughout the year to remove invasive plants on the Horizon grounds and plant native flowers and trees.

On Saturday, February 8th, an Eco Service Project is planned from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. at Horizon.  The focus changes based on the weather, but outdoor activities include cutting invasive plants, piling or removing brush, mulching native beds and more. Indoor activities will include a variety of projects designed to prepare for the next season.

Everyone is welcome to join in these service dates so bring the whole family! Children under 12 who would like to participate in a service project should be accompanied by a parent.
