Horizon high school students and volunteers are invited to a fun weekend at a Christmas Retreat! We will leave Horizon on Friday, December 6th at 5 p.m. and return on Sunday, December 8th at 11 a.m.
The group will stay at the Historic Simmons Estate in Williamstown, Kentucky, for two nights and three days. During that time, we’ve scheduled fun activities, much-needed rest, great food and quality time spent together. Some activities will be weather-permitting, but we will have access to an outdoor firepit, disc golf baskets, walking trails, PacMan and Street Fighter arcade games in the home and, of course, wifi. We will have various games and activities, house time, family dinners, free time and more. This weekend will include a trip to the Ark Encounter on Saturday.
The cost for this trip is $125. This cost covers housing, food and activities.
There is a scholarship fund available for students who need help covering the cost of the retreat. Contact Katherine if you’d like to inquire about the scholarship.
