Women’s Book Club
Life Lessons From Less-Than-Perfect Women
Tuesdays from 1 – 2:30 p.m.
or
Wednesdays from 6:30 – 8 p.m.
September 17th or 18th
The Bible shares real stories of real women. Many of these women were heroic and made the absolute right choice at a pivotal time in their lives. But did you know that there were also women in the Bible who were NOT SO PERFECT? This book club focuses on infamous women in the Bible who made some significant mistakes and life misses. But in doing so, they left behind a legacy to learn from their stories and gain wisdom and strength that you can benefit from as you apply it to your day-to-day life.
Join in this 9-week book club and let “ten less-than-perfect women” from the past show you how to transform your future.
The source book will be Bad Girls of the Bible by Liz Curtis Higgs. No Bible background is needed. Attend this book club with a willingness to read a chapter a week and discuss and connect with other women who attend Horizon. Emily Sandul, Women’s Connection at Horizon will lead us each Tuesday afternoon from 1:00–2:30 from September 17th–November 12th or Wednesday night from 6:30–8:00 p.m. from September 18th – November 13th. Books will be distributed at the first session. Childcare is provided for the Wednesday evening session only.
