Horizon, in partnership with Cincinnati Nature Center, is working on a project to restore native plants and biodiversity on our grounds. Horizon is seeking those passionate about improving our environment. Eco Service Projects are planned throughout the year to remove invasive plants on the Horizon grounds and plant native flowers and trees.
On Saturday, September 14th, an Eco Service Project is planned from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. at Horizon. Outdoor activities: planting native flowers and trees, cutting invasive plants, piling or removing brush, adding deer protection, mulching native beds and more from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m.
Everyone is welcome to join in these service dates so bring the whole family! Children under 12 who would like to participate in a service project should be accompanied by a parent.
