E-Station Ecological Serving Project at Horizon

Saturday, February 10
10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Horizon, in partnership with Cincinnati Nature Center, is working on a project to restore native plants and biodiversity on our grounds. Horizon is seeking those passionate about improving our environment.

E-Station Is Holding a Special Event in Conjunction With the Eco Team on Feb. 10th from 10 a.m. - noon

Parents and kids, ages 5 and up, are invited to participate in an indoor activity where we will be seed sorting, packet filling and decorating the packets. Families will learn to separate wild flower seeds from seed heads. We’ll discuss how God perfectly and individually designed the seeds to grow into beautiful flowers that help feed butterflies and birds. A hot chocolate refreshment station will be provided for all to enjoy!

This is a fun and educational activity for parents to do together with kids, while connecting with other families who attend Horizon.

Outdoor activities include invasive cutting and treating for ages 11 and up.

 EXCITING NEWS!
The seed packets created in February will be used in a church-wide seed scattering event this coming spring!

Everyone is welcome to join in these service dates so bring the whole family! Children under 12 who would like to participate in a service project should be accompanied by a parent.
