Join other women from Horizon for a day in Chicago to see Biblical Art at the The Art Institute of Chicago. Works will include Peter Paul Rueben’s Capture of Samson, El Greco’s Christ Taking Leave of His Mother, Guido Reni’s Salome with the head of John the Baptist, and Marc Chagall’s 1938 The White Crucifix which foretold the coming persecution of WWII.
The day will begin with a 6:50 AM flight to Chicago. We will take a bus to the Chicago Reserve Starbucks (four story amazing building and experimental flavors of Starbucks) and spend a half day at Art Institute of Chicago. We will enjoy free time and an early dinner before departing by bus at 6 PM to the airport. A 7:45 p.m. return flight lands in Cincinnati at 9:50 PM.
The cost of $350 includes plane, transportation to Museum and return to airport and admission. Food purchases are not included.
