Ecological Stewardship Service Project

Horizon, in partnership with Cincinnati Nature Center, is starting a new project to restore native plants and biodiversity on our grounds. Phase 1 includes establishing a native prairie with walking trails. Horizon is seeking those passionate about improving our environment, one step at a time, to share ideas and to participate in service projects. Service projects, including removing invasive plants on the Horizon grounds, will take place on Sunday, Nov. 20th and Sunday, Dec. 4th from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. Service project participation is suitable for ages 12 and up with a parent in attendance.
