Habitat For Humanity

Once a month on Saturdays, those 16 and older can join a Horizon Team to help build a house for a family in Madisonville.  Horizon’s last scheduled work day is set for Saturday, October 24th.

The day starts at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 4 p.m., but you are not required to work the full day.  If you’d like to participate, download the Volunteer Sign-Up Procedure document and follow the instructions.  If you'd like to help provide lunch, drinks or dessert for the team, contact Trevor Hamilton.

All sign-ups must be done at least 3 days prior to th event date.  Registration will close 2 days prior to the event date.

Please note: Ages 18 and up, may work independently on the Construction Site. Ages 16-17 may volunteer along with a parent/guardian/adult (over age 21), in a limited capacity, at a Construction Site. Volunteers ages 16 & 17 are not permitted to participate in roofing, demolition, the use of power tools, or use ladders over 6ft.
