A Pathway to Prayer Individual and Group Activities

During the next two months in which we are focusing on the topic of prayer, Horizon has created both individual and group activities that were designed as “an invitation to explore prayer.”  We encourage you to take advantage of the various opportunities available to you, which are outlined below.  Our hope this is a time that you may learn and grow as you further explore the benefits of prayer.

Self-Study Guide

To complement the Honest to God Exploring series, Horizon has created A Pathway to Prayer self-study guide to help you explore a deeper understanding of the benefits of prayer.  Click here to download A Pathway to Prayer self-study guide. Copies are also available at Horizon in the Chapel Foyer, outside the Hearth Room and at the Registration desk.

Prayer Study Groups

Daily & Weekly Prayers

During these next 2 months, Horizon would like to take this opportunity to pray as a community. Click here to visit the Pathway to Prayer page which contains a concise 1 minute daily and weekly prayer that, when convenient, you might pray alone or with your family. Better yet is if you'd like to add your own words to the prayers. Or, submit your prayer request and members of the Horizon team will pray for you.

Evening of Prayer

On Sunday Sept. 13th, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Horizon will be holding an Evening of Prayer in the Chapel.  During this time of prayer, please join us to pray individually or along-side a Horizon Team member.  Feel free to stay for the entire hour or come and go as your schedule permits. You will not be asked to pray out loud, unless you choose to do so.  Join us as we lift our prayers and praises to Him!
