Inter Parish Ministry offers a food pantry in Newtown and Amelia
Fill a Blue Bag and Feed a Family in Need!
As part of the 52 Day Plan Exploring Series, one of the "daily challenges" in October is to fill a blue bag with food for someone in need and return it to Horizon. Horizon, in partnership with Inter Parish Ministry (IPM), provides food for families in need in Clermont County and Eastern Hamilton County. You can help through this simple “Bag Hunger" meal program. Take the shopping list attached to the bag, located in Horizon's Atrium, with you on your next visit to the grocery store. Fill it up with nonperishable items and return it to Horizon.
Or, if you prefer not to come into the building, use your own bag and download the shopping list by clicking on the button below. If you'd like to participate but you are not able to grocery shop, due to COVID health concerns, call Jill Guenther at 513 607-6163 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. If you would like to make a monetary donation to IPM, click HERE.
Return Bags to Horizon by Oct. 25th
Bags may be returned to Horizon on weekdays from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. or on Sundays from 8:30 a.m. - noon. If you cannot make it to the church during these hours, feel free to drop the bag in Horizon's portico (by the front doors) when it is convenient for you, and a team member will make sure the food is delivered to IPM.
If you have questions or would like details on how to get involved, email Jill Guenther at email@example.com or call 513 607-6163.
